Monica Barnett is the Founder and CEO of a wardrobe styling and executive branding company called Blueprint for Style. She works with entrepreneurs, senior level, and C-suite individuals to develop and curate their Visual Resume™️. In addition, she conducts training and professional development for Fortune 500 corporations to help their professionals show up as the best version of themselves.
Monica spent 15 years doing revenue cycle optimization within the healthcare industry and the last 15 years focused on helping individuals and companies advocate for themselves through image curation. Most recently, she has focused her attention and talent on finding ways to elevate the conversation and thinking around legacy and the Black community. This one-day program represents the beginning of a journey to create a larger, more impactful program dedicated to sharing, nurturing, and growing the next generation of Black youth who are savvy, knowledgeable, impact-driven, and prepared to make the best use of their time, talent, and treasury to pay it forward.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Monica studied organizational psychology and Spanish receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She also holds a Master’s of Health Administration with an emphasis on Strategic Planning and Health Policy from the University of Washington, Seattle. She currently lives in Washington, DC where she dedicates some of her time to working with housing-insecure youth with Sasha Bruce Youthworks and helping to share the benefits of exposure to classical music with DC Strings Workshop.
