Named after the English composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, The Coleridge-Taylor Society is a 3-year annual commitment for major donors that are passionate about the vision and mission of DC Strings. This network of champions helps create a powerful platform to engage youth, musicians, artists, and educators alike to shape and expand musical opportunities, particularly to marginalized people and communities.

DC Strings’s Coleridge-Taylor Society is a community of individuals who believe strongly in a high-quality inclusive music community in which all are welcome to experience the power of music. By giving $1,000 or more annually, Coleridge-Taylor Society members are investing in the future of our communities through the young musicians in it..
